Easy and Cheesy Vegan Garlic Bread Recipe

This cheesy vegan garlic bread is a great side dish or appetiser that's perfect for any occasion. It's also very easy to make and can be ready in less than 30 minutes, making it a great option for busy weeknights or last-minute dinner parties.


Units Scale
  • 1 loaf of bread, such as French bread or baguette ( I used baguette )
  • 60 g vegan salted butter, softened
  • 1,5 tbsp dairy-free parmesan
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 60 g dairy-free cheddar, shredded


  1. Firstly, preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F. 
  2. Cut the baguette in half. 
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the vegan butter, parsley, garlic and dairy-free parmesan.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture onto each slice of bread.
  5. Sprinkle the vegan cheese on top of the garlic butter.
  6. Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove the garlic bread from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley and parmesan before serving.


Let it cool before serving: Give the bread a few minutes to cool before slicing and serving. This will help the cheese set and prevent it from sliding off the bread.
