Description
This cheesy vegan garlic bread is a great side dish or appetiser that's perfect for any occasion. It's also very easy to make and can be ready in less than 30 minutes, making it a great option for busy weeknights or last-minute dinner parties.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf of bread, such as French bread or baguette ( I used baguette )
- 60 g vegan salted butter, softened
- 1,5 tbsp dairy-free parmesan
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 60 g dairy-free cheddar, shredded
Instructions
- Firstly, preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F.
- Cut the baguette in half.
- In a small bowl, mix together the vegan butter, parsley, garlic and dairy-free parmesan.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture onto each slice of bread.
- Sprinkle the vegan cheese on top of the garlic butter.
- Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Remove the garlic bread from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley and parmesan before serving.
Notes
Let it cool before serving: Give the bread a few minutes to cool before slicing and serving. This will help the cheese set and prevent it from sliding off the bread.
