How to Store and Reheat Cheesy Vegan Garlic Bread
If you have leftover cheesy vegan garlic bread, it's important to store it properly to maintain its freshness and flavour. Here are some tips on how to store it:
- Allow the bread to cool completely. This will prevent the bread from becoming soggy and the cheese from becoming clumpy.
- Wrap the bread in foil.
- You can store the wrapped garlic bread in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
- To reheat the garlic bread, preheat your oven to 180°C and unwrap the bread from the foil. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is heated through and the cheese is melted.
By following these storage tips, you can ensure that your cheesy vegan garlic bread stays fresh and delicious for as long as possible.

Tips for Making Cheesy Vegan Garlic Bread
- Don't over-butter the bread: While you want to make sure the garlic butter mixture is spread evenly on each slice of bread, be careful not to use too much. Too much butter can make the bread soggy and greasy.
- Customise the flavour: Feel free to add additional herbs or spices to the garlic butter mixture, such as basil or red pepper flakes. This can add more depth and complexity to the flavor.
- Let it cool before serving: Give the bread a few minutes to cool before slicing and serving. This will help the cheese set and prevent it from sliding off the bread.
- Use fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. Fresh garlic has a stronger and more pronounced flavour than garlic powder, which can enhance the overall taste of your garlic bread.
- Shred/grate your cheese from the block. It tastes and melts much better.
